

A multistage machine polishing process is carried out to remove swirls, scratches and other defects. These could have been caused by poor wash technique or use of harsh chemicals. The following steps are carried out in this package:
- Wheel arch areas flushed out
- Wheel and tyres cleaned and decontaminated
- Extensive wash process including door shuts cleaned
- Chemical decontamination process; tar and iron fallout removed
- Mechanical decontamination process; any leftover contaminants removed via claybar
- Final rinse down
- Vehicle dried with a combination of plush drying towels and blower
- Paintwork inspected and paint depth readings taken
- Masking tape applied to trim and other delicate areas
- First machine polishing set to remove heavy swirling and heavy defects
- Second machine polishing with a finer compound to remove any finer defects left behind after first set
- Vehicle rinsed to remove dust from previous stages
- Blow dry
- Isopropyl alcohol wipedown, removing any oils left behind
- Protection applied to paint and trim
- Exhaust tips polished
- Tyres dressed
- Glass cleaned
