A single stage machine polishing process is carried out to remove light swirls and improve gloss. The following steps are carried out in this package:
- Wheel arch areas flushed out
- Wheel and tyres cleaned and decontaminated
- Extensive wash process including door shuts cleaned
- Chemical decontamination process; tar and iron fallout removed
- Mechanical decontamination process; any leftover contaminants removed via claybar
- Final rinse down
- Vehicle dried with a combination of plush drying towels and blower
- Masking tape applied to trim and other delicate areas
- A single machine polishing set carried out using the combination of pad and compound that gives the best result in terms of removing defects but not introducing finer defects to the paint where a second polishing set would be needed to remove.
- Isopropyl alcohol wipedown, removing any oils left behind
- Protection applied to paint and trim
- Exhaust tips polished
- Tyres dressed
- Glass cleaned
