Paint Correction – Ceramic Coating – Interior Detail – Paint Touchup – Diffuser Painted – Front Air Intake Surrounds Wrapped – Headlights Restored

Right from the get-go, it was clear that this car had seen paintwork before. After completing our thorough decontamination wash process, we were able to give the paint a proper visual inspection to see what we were dealing with and this paint had it all; light swirling, deep scratches, overspray, micro blistering, runs in the paint, and then just in general it seemed a bit dull and tired.

We targeted some of the heavier scratches first, removing or improving the look of them whilst also leaving as much clear-coat for future as possible. We then proceeded to remove the rear diffuser, which had some damage and paint flaking away. We light sanded this back before painting it matte black, keeping with the factory finish. This would he left to cure while we made more progress with the paint.

Next on the list was the headlight restoration. Unfortunately we weren’t able to restore these back to like new due to the micro fractures on the inner side of the lens, but we did bring them to their full possible potential.

After finding a nice combination of pad and cutting compound, we got stuck into giving the entire body a machine polish to remove those swirls while improving clarity and gloss at the same time. Topping this off with a fine compound on a finishing pad, we were able to really dial in that crisp finish. An application of ‘Zvizzer’ ceramic coating to all the paintwork, lights and trim followed this.

Finally, the interior needed some TLC. Leather all cleaned safely and rejuvenated using ‘Geist’ products; we don’t use the cheapest products we can get our hands on here at Atlas Autocare.

Carpets scrubbed and all the dirty excess extracted, plastics and dash cleaned before finishing up with the glass, inside and out.

It was a pleasure working on this car, and we look forward to seeing it again in the future for any maintenance work that may need carried out.
